About Me
Welcome to Eric’s outdoor Adventure website! Let me introduce myself. I’m Eric Peterson, an avid fisherman with an insatiable love for the great outdoors. My journey has been a diverse one, shaped by various experiences that have molded me into who I am today.
My adventure began when I served proudly in the US Navy for four years, stationed aboard a submarine. The discipline, camaraderie, and the thrill of the open sea left an indelible mark on me.
On the personal front, I’ve been blessed with the love and support of my incredible wife, Sheila, for the past 49 years. Together, we’ve weathered life’s storms and cherished its brightest moments.
In pursuit of intellectual growth, I earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, a field that always fascinated me. This educational journey opened doors to a fulfilling career path, leading me to spend 31 enriching years at Hewlett Packard.
However, amidst the rigors of professional life, my heart always yearned for the tranquility of nature’s embrace. Fishing became not just a hobby, but a passion that rejuvenated my spirit and provided solace in life’s hustle and bustle.
Now, through this platform, I aim to share my experiences, insights, and perhaps a few angling tips with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and curious minds alike.
